Setting Up Scenario Rotation (Map Cycle)
Setting Up Scenario Rotation (Map Cycle)
Reforger has no built-in map rotation, so we added one. Scenario rotation cycles your server through a list of scenarios automatically, so your community isn't stuck on one mission forever.
How it works
You build a list of scenarios you want to cycle. The panel restarts your server into the next scenario in the list on the schedule you choose. Because Reforger changes scenario on restart, each rotation is a clean, quick server restart into the next mission.
Building your rotation
- Open the Configuration dropdown menu, click Server Settings, and go to the Mission Scenario section.
- On the Active Scenario picker, switch from Single Scenario to Scenario Rotation.
- Add the scenarios you want to cycle (official ones and any from your installed mods), then reorder them with the up and down arrows.
- Click Save. The rotation runs automatically from then on, and switching back to Single Scenario turns it off.
Only include scenarios your installed mods actually provide. If you remove a mod, remember to remove its scenarios from the rotation too, or that rotation step will have nothing to load.
